About Pizzeria At the Point

Pizzeria At the Point is a pizza restaurant in Lockport, Illinois. It is listed at 631 N State St, Lockport, IL 60441, which places it among the local businesses of Lockport that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 4–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Ok so 5 stars on the atmosphere for sure, it had a little bit of everything. Dineing room set from grandma's house to make you comfortable and this laid back lounge area with board games. Cash only but that just adds to the vibe. They have what you want bugers, pizza , and even stuffed pizza. Get it do it live it.

Went a few weeks ago, ordered a thin crust pizza with pepperoni on it. The place is overall run down and cluttered inside. Its not appealing to be in there, and the menu is also outdated. Many items such as pastas & salads are not offered at the Lockport location so keep in mind. The pizza was lackluster and not much different compared to a frozen pizza you can make at home. I did however dislike that it comes in a bag as all the grease soaked onto the bag making it stick together…all in all I dont think i’d go here again and would rather just go to Villanova down the street.

Love, love, LOVE their πŸ• Ate here years ago & fell in love after 1 bite. Same great taste & food almost 10 yrs later. After 1 bite, my hubby refuses to eat pizza from anywhere else, lbs. We're almost weekly regulars.

Brought burnt pizza back to establishment today. Wasn’t looking for anything other than an acknowledgment and I’m sorry. I Received neither. So I asked manager would you eat this and at least received honesty when she said no. She did not seem to care in the least. So very disappointed in the lack of pride and responsibility in product being served. Shame on you!

Weekends are a limited menu with no dine in. Staff was nice enough, but useless and very slow. Thin crust pizza was a 40 minute wait. Ordered onion rings & a pizza. They cooked rings right away and rather than giving them to us as apps, they held them for the rest of the 40 mins it took to cook the pizza. By the time we got them, they were cold & soggy. Strong taste of overused cooking oil. Frozen rings fried at home are better. Pizza was meh. No flavor... like none... and cheese was a choking hazard. I could only stand to eat one piece, cut tavern style. The place was run down too. Drinks were four kinds of canned soda or bottles of water. It was very cheap, but you get what you pay for. One of the worst places I've been to anywhere. Never again.
